Narrative
CROFTON, MD – A 20-year-old man died Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck along the Crain Highway.
The incident occurred around 12:31 a.m. at the intersection with John Hopkins Road in the city of Crofton.
Police say that the driver of a westbound 2020 Honda Insight sedan neglected to stop for a red light and entered the path of a northbound 18-wheeler. The truck struck the Honda, killing the driver, Jack Michael Brown, at the scene.
Medics transported a passenger from the Honda to the hospital with serious injuries.
The truck driver did not sustained injures in the accident.
