Narrative
Two people were killed and another extremely injured after a 2013 Freightliner tow truck overran a Honda sedan in the early morning of March 12th on Crain Highway. Around 12:15a.m., the truck hit the sedan in the southbound lanes, causing both vehicles to swerve off to the right. After going off the road, both vehicles hit some trees. The driver, Irene Nkechi Onwukwe, 54, and a passenger in the sedan, Josephine Monyei, 85, were killed and pronounced dead at the site. The other unnamed passenger from the sedan was a 62 year-old who had to be hospitalized in Baltimore. The tow truck driver was hospitalized at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He is a 45 year-old male who suffered small injuries. No updates have been given on the condition of any of the occupants. There is an investigation on this case being led by the Traffic Safety Section.
