Narrative

A crash on I-95 involving two passenger vehicles and a semitruck left one driver dead and two drivers and a passenger injured on March 14th. The 5:30a.m. accident started when a Dodge Charger hit a Toyota in the southbound lanes. The Toyota was pushed into the media along with the Charger. The Charger, however, went all the way into the opposing lanes and crashed into a semitruck. Maryland State Police College Park Barrack reported to the scene and found the semitruck driver, Delando Woody, 56, had died. This man was working for Estes Express Lines at the time. Troy Myers, 45, was the driver of the Charger. He had to be taken to MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Carlos Diaz Agustin, 22, and Anner Ramundo, 43, were the occupants of the Toyota. They also sustained injuries in the crash and were hospitalized at Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center. Some parts of I-95 were closed for about 7 hours. The following first responders assisted with the crash: the Maryland Department of the Environment, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration, the Maryland State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, and the Motor Unit. The Maryland State Police Crash Team remains in charge of the investigation and asks that anyone with more information call 301-669-8100.
