RHODESDALE, MD – A 47-year-old man and woman had their lives claimed when they crashed their Chevrolet car head-on with a semi-truck after crossing the center lines. This fatal wreck happened around 1 a.m. Wednesday at the Eldorado Road and Dog Kennel Road intersection. The tractor-trailer motorist was unharmed, while the 47-year-old man and woman identified as Rhodesdale residents Johnnie Wright Jr and Michelle Wright, succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene. Maryland State Police shut down Eldorado Road for several hours to accommodate the investigation and scene clearance process. An investigation has begun.
