Narrative
EASTON, MD – A 32-year-old man died after he crossed the centerline on Dover Road and struck a truck head-on with his car, leading the truck to then hit another vehicle Friday.
This collision took place around 6 p.m. on Dover Road. Upon arrival, paramedics rushed the 32-year-old man and the driver of the third vehicle — 24-year-old Dayshonna Matthews from Cambridge — to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center. There, the 32-year-old man passed away from his injuries. Matthews is recovering from unspecified wounds; her condition is unknown.
The truck driver, who was identified as 50-year-old Enrique Mendez Miguel from Easton, was airlifted to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for treatment. Authorities have not provided an update regarding Miguel’s condition.
