GERMANTOWN, MD – One person died last Thursday when a bus struck them at a busy Germantown intersection.
The accident happened at night near the intersection of Germantown Road and Wisteria Drive. This is just south of Germantown Plaza.
Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause or circumstances of the crash except to say that the pedestrian became pinned beneath a Ride On bus.
Authorities declared the pedestrian deceased at the scene. Their identity has not yet been released to the public.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the accident.
