Narrative
LANDOVER, MD – A woman died, and several people were hurt Tuesday in a two-vehicle collision involving a stolen car in west-central Prince George’s County.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to a major crash at Sheriff Road and MD-704, or the MLK Jr Highway.
Police say that a stolen vehicle carrying three teen occupants between the ages of 15 and 17 collided with another vehicle carrying a mom and her child.
The 30-year-old mom died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released her name to the public.
Medics transported a child passenger to an area hospital with critical injuries.
While all four teen suspects from the stolen vehicle were hurt, only two required hospitalization.
All four teens will likely face charges in connection to the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
